Epsidoe 78: Arbor Day

Didn't put up two Epsidoes last week like I was supposed to. It looks like school this semester is going to be a little bit more unforgiving than it usually is.

It's not like I mind, but it *does* put a bit of a damper on Ishara Comix. It's a good thing I don't play many games anymore. Otherwise, I might have a hard time keeping up!

So yeah. Even though I've obtained the ability to do calculator programming, I'll have to put off playing with it until school lightens up. Maybe. Or something. It'd be nice to make some RogueLikes for the calculator. Make them really simple. It'd be nifty. But as long as I've got these classes demanding so much from me, I'm not really in any condition to be making/playing/doing anything involving computer or calculator games.

*sigh* The troubles of a college student.

Anyway. I'll still probably be able to put together ONE epsidoe per week, so we'll see how that goes. I still enjoy making these Comix. I've been very proud of these last two Epsidoes. They seem to be
reminiscent of the very old days of IC. Lots of fun... lots and lots of fun.

SO YEAH. If I do manage to make more Epsidoes, great. If not, no big deal. We're almost at the big 100, aren't we? Maybe I'll do something cool for that one.

So. In non-Ishara news, one of my favorite musicians of all time - Roger Subirana - has released a new album on Jamendo behind my back, and it's absolutely beautiful [link]. I try to keep track of this guy's stuff, but I missed it this time around. Unfortunately, he releases his works under the CC-BY-NC-ND license, so no remixing is allowed. Licenses aside, it's still awesometastic.

Also, in a move that surprised millions of Ubuntu users across the world, Hiroshi Seo has released Chapter 7 of Ubunchu! in Japanese [link], and the translating team is hard at work on getting it localized. And yes, you aren't counting incorrectly. Chapter 6 is being skipped over for the time being. I guess he wants to put together a Director's Cut of sorts. Or something. I dunno. Regardless, it looks like a good one. I can't wait to see how the translators put it together.
